Brendan Loughrey is an internationally awarded creative director, copywriter, and conceptual marketing consultant. Over the past 18 years, he has worked on both the agency and client sides of the advertising and marketing world. He excels in leading creative teams in branding, interactive, broadcast and print campaigns. He has produced websites, mobile apps, direct mail, press kits, incentive programs, product naming and promotional campaigns. Brendan holds dual BAs in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of St Thomas and has been an ELEVEN Associate since 2003.

  • Strategic research and creative lead for Lifetime Fitness Athletic Events, including competing in countless endurance events like the Lutsen 99er–a hundred-mile mountain bike race–that he created the naming system for.
  • Led the Lifetime Fitness creative team that earned more than 55 awards in just over 5 years; including a coveted Platinum Graphis award for the Leadville Race Series, one of only seven such awards presented globally that year.
  • Head writer on the UnitedHealthcare creative team that reimagined the complete customer communications program, which sends communications to plan members more than 50 million times annually.
  • Researched, wrote and edited the Deluxe Corp. website, covering all four of their American business units for the payments and business data technology company.
  • Tasked with updating all programming, coursework and student-facing website pages for Capella University
  • Harley-Davidson’s creative team lead for direct mail for more than 3 years, overseeing work sent to more than 30 million motorcycle enthusiasts.
  • Authored multiple magazine articles for the University of Minnesota and St. Paul College.
  • Edited the University of St Thomas Sustainability Plan – A Five Year Strategic Plan.
  • Wrote and co-created national TV campaign commercials for Global Agribusiness company Syngenta and online higher education brand Strayer University.
